Workplace Violence Hurts ... It Almost Ended My World
Do you know of someone who has been made to feel worthless by a boss, company,or a culture; that promotes and rewards cruelty to human beings?
Do you think it's o.k. to go to work, work hard and be intentionally hurt by workplace bullies who abuse their power?
Just like bullying in classrooms/schools is leading to bullycide's and a host of psychological issues for our youth, adults in the workplace across the world are also suffering.
Workplace, discrimination and retaliation (if you report the sometimes unlawful behaviors):
Robs an individual of their self worth, causes enormous amounts of stress, exacerbates pre-existing health conditions, can limit one's career growth, results in the hard work one does not being recognized and can also include defamation of character, slander, hostile and unhealthy work environments and even SUICIDE!
Sometimes the behavior can be subtle but the abuser knows exactly what he or she is doing. Often the abuser is manipulative and convinces individuals who they perceive as weak to do the dirty work for them so when the behavior is finally reported they are protected.

A mother will be sharing her story along with the older sister that found her on the Steve Wilkos Show on Monday April 24 , 2012.......
No one deserves to be abused .....no one

1 ReactionThat is so true Rox a beautiful girl here was subjected to cyber bulliyng and suicided. I watched with tears rolling down my face. A bit too close to home for me with a son removed from school due to bullying issues. No one deserves to be abused and no one has the right to do it. Very passsionate about this as you know.

1 ReactionI am passionate about it as well. It happened to me from elementary to the 6th grade and one day I was fed up and fought back. I was never bullied again. I have my favorite aunt to thank for that. She told me to stand firm even if I was petrified and let the older girls know I was fed up and so I did. After that, they wanted to be my friend.
As an adult, who has witnessed other adults being bullied and have also experienced it until it incapacitated me, I am extremely passionate about abuse of power and intentionally hurting human beings. You know what is sad? I am a humble and sensitive person and if I ever l felt like I had hurt someone without intent I quickly apologize. Can you believe that these bullies even us my apologies against me? One time I apologized and then retracted it but the main bully did not show the proper authorities the retraction which I have to make me look like ....oh she's deserving of how we intentionally hurt her...look she's was apologizing. Totally, immature and sad.
I totally agree with you that NO ONE!!!!! deserves to be hurt and NO ONE Deserves PROTECTION when they hurt someone else.

I will always stand strong on this Rox I am a person as you know who is very senstive and caring to others needs as you are. You know I was bullied at school and removed, put in another school and coped. When you said about apologizing, whenI contacted Nige's boss and told him he was resigining. He stated to be oh well I'm sorry. For heavens' sake this creep of a man had just taken a 32year career away from him. I found this unbelievable. and I was speechless as you can imagine. We all need to stay strong with this and stand up for what is right Take care Piglit
