Blaming and anger: How do you deal with it?
He spilled cereal and blamed me.
He suggested I invite my son for Thanksgiving, even though he's been out of my life for ten years. The doctor gave him a referral to a neurologist, which he ignored. These are just a few examples of my current situation. How do you all cope? I'm ill today with Norovirus, and hiding away in my bedroom.

4 Reactions@labrown Thank you. Yes. When I feel bad about all this I think of all of us here and so many are dealing with so much more. It makes me feel guilty for whining. I used to say - the only whine I want is the wine at 5:00. Still holds true

8 Reactions@maryvc , that’s great news! We were told that once someone gets in the door of a facility for respite care, it makes it easier to get long term care.
We found a home healthcare agency that we contacted with for services when we needed them. Minimum of 4 hours. We used them 2-3 times a week, but they were available 24/7. Just call and they’d come within the hour.

3 ReactionsI love the minimum 4 hours - I’m looking for someone for Wednesday afternoons. I may have to hire a nighttime person but I dread having someone in my house all night.

3 Reactions@celia16 I'm sorry you have not had success with lequembi. We started Kisunla 4 months ago, the other infusion (monthly) and it has shown a lot of success. We are staying hopeful and have spoken with others including a woman who has completed the 18 months and is very convinced it HAS helped her. She said it completely wiped out the amyloid in her brain and she will start the maintenance injections now.

1 Reaction@theglobalnomad1 , I’m glad it’s working so well. I haven’t taken that med. Upthread I was responding to @msblood, about his input. He was saying it wasn’t all that helpful. Still, I suppose any improvement is a good thing.
