Anyone had experience with OsteoStrong, who is not a franchisee?

Has anyone had experience with OsteoStrong? It suggests you will get a large increase in bone density while using their facility 10 minutes per WEEK. Somewhat pricey at $99 and up per month, but am curious if anyone who is NOT a franchisee, has experienced this program?

It’s wonderful you had improvement! How long have you used Super Slow Zone? I would like to try it. OsteoStrong was awkward and uncomfortable for me, maybe because I’m very petite and some of the equipment wasn’t adjustable to my size.

I have been going to Super Slow Zone for over 2 years. I know they are located in other cities. My Dr wanted me to take Fosamax before starting but I opted for SSZ. My DXA Scan did show some improvement in some areas. My Dr again wanted me to take Fosamax but I want to delay that again. Now I also started taking Life Extension Bone Restore Elite and also their Collagen Peptides for Skin & Joints.

Would like to hear from people who have used a Marodyne LIV , (low intensity vibration platform).

I received my Marodyne LIV platform over a week ago and it has already started to malfunction. The company seems unresponsive thus far regarding repair or replacement. Very disappointing!

Hi ans!
UPDATE: As per my phone conversation today with the Marodyne rep, the company is willing to replace my unit. (This was my second phone call to them in a week, plus an email which was never answered.) I was told they are awaiting a new shipment from Germany to arrive in about a week. They will send me a pre-paid return shipment label for the defective device.
In my previous phone interaction, the rep seemed to downplay my concerns as to the inconsistent responses of the machine. (The machine tends not to reactivate once in Standby mode.) My impression is that the company is well meaning but somewhat disorganized. Let’s see if they are true to their word!

Hi,
I had my first visit to OsteoStong today. I really liked the program and am excited to get started. I go again next Wednesday and I’m excited to see how I progress. It’s definitely worth trying, in my opinion. My rheumatologist wanted me to start Evenity but I was so anxious after reading the side effects. I couldn’t bring myself to start the meds. For now I’m doing OsteoStrong and eating right + exercising. I feel good about this decision.

If there were an Osteostrong within 2 hours of my home, I would join. Unfortunately, the closest is 4+ hours away.

Please keep us updated with n BMD gains.

I liked osteo strong until I hurt my knee on the machine. Where are you? Press your feet flat against the plate as hard as you can. They knew I had knee issues and yet stood there saying harder, harder harder. I later learned that my doctor had seen three cases where there were fractures caused by that machine. Google, osteo strong lawsuits before you decide either way.

Thanks for the update! I think I will sign up for their trial. They are less than mile from my house. I have been using similar supplements and doing Dr. Fishburn’s yoga poses as well as strength and resistance training. Need to mix it up a bit so I don’t get bored and non compliant. I have had a slight improvement with the above and declined Fosamax at this point as well. Impossible to say what impact each of those things has had but I try to do my best to follow the recommendations. All the best to you!
