If hypothyroid, you want to avoid oral estrogen, but patch is okay to take.
@singingbones

I’m going to check out Perfect Amino! I currently take a Tri Amino from NOW Foods. This is the K that I take from NOW Foods with combined K4 and K7:

I just ordered Parathyroid, Calcium and D lab test. I don’t feel like waiting several months till recheck. I found out that Parathyroid should always be done with Calcium and D as they are interpreted together.
@gmj7375 D3 and K2, helps drive the calcium from your blood into your bones, but don’t take my word for it. Check out Mayo’s website and UTube.

3 ReactionsI’ve started drinking Gerolsteiner Mineral Water. It has 260 Calcium and 80 mg. Magnesium per 0.75 liter, among other minerals. I buy it by the case at Trader Joe’s.
Gerolsteiner Nutrition Info.:
@cliffdweller, thanks! I considered taking the same TriAmino from NOW foods, but decided to try higher dosages for MK-4 and MK-7. I take NOW's standalone MK-7 which has 100mcg and Carlson's standalone MK-4, which has 5,000 mcg. The studies referenced in Dr Doug Lucas' podcast features K-2 that contains 15,000 mcg of MK-4 per meal, for a total of 45,000 mcg per day. Apparently, that's the dosage prescribed in Japan that has successfully reversed or improved osteoporosis T-scores.
I just started taking PerfectAmino and look forward to seeing its impact on my efforts to gain more muscle, which I need for my Onero exercises.
@cliffdweller - I am 73 yrs old. Edit to my DXA numbers post: spine went from -3.5 to -1.0--still impressive; Evenity is known for its increase in the spine. It was the first bone drug I've ever taken and I did so reluctantly.
I did the 8 mo of OP exercises at a local medical/wellness facility. I do take most of the recommended supplements of D3, K2, calcium, magnesium & other trace minerals. I don't eat much dairy, so I do take supplemental calcium. I've downloaded the recommended free version of Cronometer, but have yet to use it consistently to track my daily calcium. The point is to take only supplemental calcium if you haven't consumed enough thru food intake.

3 Reactions@cliffdweller - keep up the deep dive into these matters - I do the same and then drive everyone else around me crazy with what I've learned. Thanks for this link!
My conventional Dr prefers my Vit D levels to be at a lower range than my integrative Dr. After much reading, I agree w/my integrative Dr. I find that not taking any of my supplements a day or two prior to a lab draw probably gives a more accurate reading of levels...but who knows???
