@cliffdweller, thanks! I considered taking the same TriAmino from NOW foods, but decided to try higher dosages for MK-4 and MK-7. I take NOW's standalone MK-7 which has 100mcg and Carlson's standalone MK-4, which has 5,000 mcg. The studies referenced in Dr Doug Lucas' podcast features K-2 that contains 15,000 mcg of MK-4 per meal, for a total of 45,000 mcg per day. Apparently, that's the dosage prescribed in Japan that has successfully reversed or improved osteoporosis T-scores.

I just started taking PerfectAmino and look forward to seeing its impact on my efforts to gain more muscle, which I need for my Onero exercises.

I’m not sure on how much to take. I haven’t really done a deep dive on that yet. I do know that Keith McCormick recommends taking smaller doses of the K’s. I know he addresses it somewhere in the Great Bones book. I’m following (to some extent) his recommendations on supplements. The one I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get on a routine with is Collagen (Fortibone) I’ve tried different kinds and even the unflavored ones I can’t stand the taste and smell of to the point of nearly gagging. I can’t imagine those who are able to put it in their coffee and drink it. Major yuck. I don’t think I’ll be able to get on board with that one.

I've been taking Osteo-K. I buy it on amazon and have bought it thru my naturopath.

@gmj7375 D3 and K2, helps drive the calcium from your blood into your bones, but don’t take my word for it. Check out Mayo’s website and UTube.

@sharlyn777 thank you I have heard that or read it.

@cliffdweller - keep up the deep dive into these matters - I do the same and then drive everyone else around me crazy with what I've learned. Thanks for this link!

My conventional Dr prefers my Vit D levels to be at a lower range than my integrative Dr. After much reading, I agree w/my integrative Dr. I find that not taking any of my supplements a day or two prior to a lab draw probably gives a more accurate reading of levels...but who knows???

@singingbones
I have got into the habit of skipping supplements 2-3 days before labs. There are some labs where this is recommended from the lab in regard to Biotin.

@cliffdweller, thanks. I will read Keith McCormick's book to get better educated on supplements, etc. Dr. Doug Lucas's 2026 supplement recommendation included NBI's Osteo-K supplements. There are three variations of this supplement--Osteo-K; Osteo-K minis; and Osteo-MK4. The latter follows the Japanese dosage of 45,000 mcg per day. Osteo-K has less at 22,500 mcg. Interestingly, none of the three includes K2 in the form of MK-7. I am taking much less at 5,000 mcg. I have never tried Fortibone, but I'll take your word for it.

Check out Vitamin K-2 MK-7 100mcg and D3 1000 to 2000. Check with doctor first. You can read about some medications whereby you cannot. take

I’ve been taking Algi Cal Plus for years. My T-score recently went from osteopenia to osteoporosis.
I’m considering to try Rynse NMN. I’ve read many positive reviews. Has anyone personally experienced beneficial results using RYNSE NMN?
