Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I have experienced something I refer to as "Internal Vibrations". In my situation they occur randomly and are caused by anxiety, for which I take an anxyolitic (Venlafaxine). They are strictly "Internal" and do not cause any physical tremors. I do, however, experience true physical tremors, as well, from time to time, for which a Benzodiazepine (Clonazepam in my case) resolves them.

So far I’ve found a lot of people who are having this experience is getting relief by getting treated for anxiety. This honestly blows my mind. We have so much anxiety in this world now days that we are suffering. I have an appointment with neurologist next week, at the same time I just got new prescription from psychiatrist for anxiety. I’ll keep everyone updated.

A lot of people on here are saying they are getting relief by getting treated for anxiety. I’m also experiencing this and think something is more serious than that. I just got new prescription to try for anxiety but I also have an appointment with neurologist next week. This is actually interesting how many people are actually experiencing this and there are no real answers.

I’ve experienced. I called them quick brain zaps. They freaked me out and give me anxiety as well. I don’t take any medication anymore because at the end of the day they are all harmful to your health one way or another. I try to find natural resources!!’

I to have brain 'zaps' or clicks. They are random in number and no pattern. They occur while completely still and also with movement. I have PD, take levodopa. Any ideas?

Yes, I have them, but they’re an internal tremor for me. And it’s common symptom for Parkinson’s disease patients.

then why dont the neurologists tell you that these internal tremors are a common symptom of pd. i supposedly had the best from bjc st. louis and the neuro said nothing and put me on cd/ld and it did nothing. after over 3 1/2 yrs of suffering the drs still have no answer 4 neuros, 1 rheum, 1 pcp and lots of er visits they have found nothing.

I have been diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy approx 4 years ago. I have internal vibrations. They are extremely worrisome and very scary. My neurologist said he does not know where they are coming from or why I have them. I asked the NP if she has other patients which have internal vibrations and she said no...I also asked if Small Fiber Neuropathy can turn into Parkinson's Disease, or are these two seperate diseases? She told me these are two seperate diseases. I would like to find out the root cause of these internal vibrations, so that perhaps I can be treated for them. Gabepentin and cymbalta does not work. Those meds only make me feel sicker. Does anyone have any insight as to what the internal vibrations are, and why they occur? Thank you.
