How to stop the vibrations?

Posted by mojobass @mojobass, Aug 27, 2023

Anyone have tips on stopping these vibrations? It's been a couple years and they don't let go. Only last about 30 seconds but scares me and I get all saddened and that nobody knows what's going on. I've done MRI's EEG's bloodwork and everything comes back clear. I am glad to have found this forum to know I am not alone,,,

Happy to hear your internal vibrations have abated. Like so many others, mine are debilitating. Really, really bad this morning ... I hope all of us have our vibrations resolve, like you did. Wishing you all the best.

Well you aren’t crazy. These people just haven’t experienced anything like it so they think it can’t happen. Just ignorance. I experience them and they are debilitating. God bless you

Truly. Most bizarre thing I’ve ever had. Like my cell phone is vibrating inside of me. Take care.

I also had horrible internal vibrations that would last for some time and they went on for months. Fortunately, now after six months, I rarely have them, but they were just terrible and people thought I was crazy. Couldn’t sleep at all with them.

Did they decrease on their own or have you been taking meds or other treatments

I too have the vibrations. I have been to the ER countless times (retired RN with 36 years work at a level one trauma center in Cleveland OH) and I too, despite my years of being a reputable RN, have been looked at like I needed a psych consult when I explained to the numerous nurses and docs that I had head, chest and abdominal vibrations since getting Covid in 9/2022. Sometimes I go all day with them and some days all day without. I see FUNCTIONAL MED as CLEVE CLINIC and they have me on Low Dose Naltrexone as a post viral anti-inflammatory and a mast cell stabilizer called KETOTIFEN 1 mg every 12 hours. After 6 weeks of Ketotifen I felt the med was not really helping so I am now on Singulair as a mast cell stabilizer. I just started it a few days ago so we will see... However Functional Medicine at Cleve Clinic feels Covid has caused a MAST CELL disturbance where my immune system is in hyper mode from the Covid and is causing many of my long haul symptoms, and these meds were prescribed to settle down my system. For some odd reason my B6 levels are also consistently high for no known cause and this can cause a lot of nerve pain, which I have. All my skin biopsies were normal for small nerve fiber disease like peripheral neuropathies. Since Covid I have lost 25 pounds, have abdominal pain with eating and all scopes, biopsies and abdominal scans are all normal. My legs also feel odd...like they are weak and feel very weird when I walk, yet they are not really weak in reality, if that makes any sense. I have seen countless specialists and they all scratch their heads with my symptoms, but I really wish the vibrations in my head and torso would go away. I have even tried a special wrist vibrator that they felt would "re-set" my nervous system but that only started up my palpitations again. If anyone has any idea how to stop these mini Earthquakes going on in my body I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Laga,
thanks for sharing everything and I wish the best for you.
I had a cranial sacral session the other day and the therapist said she could feel stagnation in the front section of my brain and possible a cause. Nonetheless she did her THING and moved things around she said to get a flow going. I've been feeling much better for a few days ,we'll see what happens. If nothing else it was very relaxing and I felt like I was trying something deeper than any medication. Take care and stay positive,,, PAUL

Thank You Paul, I DO have a pain management consult at the end of this month and was told chiropractic care would be involved at the Cle Clinic. I said NO NARCOTICS for the pain... too risky. I have been reading a lot about a non narcotic nasal spray for chronic pain sufferers called ketoloric. I also found a compression shirt ( a very tight stretchy shirt used for work outs) helps the vibrations in my torso. I just bought the shirt yesterday and wore it all day and it seemed to provide a bit of relief.

Our situation is very similar. The only medical advice I have received is to breathe deeply and meditate. I do that and as soon as I get up the vibrations are there, always there. Also vertigo. It helps to know I am not the only one experiencing this …

Scrappy - What did you do to get rid of the vibrations? They are so limiting. I wish, wish, wish they would go away.
