How to stop the vibrations?

Posted by mojobass @mojobass, Aug 27, 2023

Anyone have tips on stopping these vibrations? It's been a couple years and they don't let go. Only last about 30 seconds but scares me and I get all saddened and that nobody knows what's going on. I've done MRI's EEG's bloodwork and everything comes back clear. I am glad to have found this forum to know I am not alone,,,

I’m going tomorrow to a Long Covid Clinic for my vibrations I’ve had since April 2020. Mine are continuous 24/7 Hoping the medical field has caught up with the disease. I try to be positive with a humorous twist that they are my super powers and at any time electricity will charge out my fingers. 😂😂.

Are you describing a sensation where you get a wave of tingling in your muscles and feel like they are going to collapse? I get this weird sensation in my legs that I tend to describe as a wave of burning over my muscles but vibrations seem to describe it better….

It's not that intense for me, I get a vibration in my head and jaw which puts me in lala land for about 30 seconds. Iam tired of it all and don't know what to do.

I call these “adrenaline rushes”. Anyway that’s what it feels like to me. I have been to endocrinologist and they pronounce me entirely normal. I was sure they would find something out of whack. Frankly I’ve just stopped talking about it because it gets me nowhere. I get them early in the morning every day. I guess it’s my “wake up” call. It’s sometimes very early and there’s no going back to sleep. Then I get them now and then through the day. Like others, mine tend to be when I am quiet, trying to rest, relax or watching tv. It starts in the pit of my stomach and radiates down my legs and up my body. My head , for this has not been involved.
Just one more crazy disturbing symptom.

Well no luck with the LC clinic rep having knowledge of vibrations. They mainly deal with pulmonary issues which I don’t have. The good thing about it is she is going to do some research on these vibrations and speak with other colleagues. I’m not giving up!!!!!! I have confidence the medical field will eventually catch up with us internet warriors!!!!!

I’ve been experiencing similar sensations for over a year. I describe them as head rumblings, vibration with head noises. I thought I was rid of them for a few weeks and now inexplicably, they’re back- along with the fatigue that put me down for many months. But I’ve been through all the tests and everything comes up negative so this time I’m pushing myself hard to work through it this time…It’s annoying, and depressing, but many are suffering far greater maladies. Good luck to all.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I find that getting some exercise is helpful, just moving and squatting and punching the air etc for 15 minutes. Having this forum to vent and connect with others is helpful for my headspace as well. So Thanks for being here.

This is what I'm getting. Exactly 8 weeks after first diagnosis and about 3 weeks after last NEGATIVE test. The vibrations. In my neck, head and shoulders, fades away in about 15 seconds, but those 15 seconds are an UNKNOWN and scary. Is this sudden death? A seizure? A stroke? Underlying respiratory problem exposed (i smoke cigs). Primary Care looks at me with his head tilted like im a lunatic. It's crazy, and im feeling helpless and frustrated. This is in addition to a severe and debilitating decline in stamina. Making a sandwich gets me winded. I'm gonna try to improve and ride stationary bike. But the lingering concern of these vibrations has me worried to exercise. If I fall over nobody is there to pick my a__ up. The support and finances for this disease came and went, a little prematurely. Alot of people relying on paychecks week to week are just-now bearing the burden of a lack of production and inability to work. Let alone trying to correct sloppy work of recent weeks where the Covid fog caused me to miss attention to last detail. This pesky little Wuhan virus was surely assembled well and very hard to deal with
