That is interesting because at the UCSD Long Covid--they absolutely said I should get flu and covid vaccine as did my primary doctor. Different opinions on RSV. I agree moderation in exercise is important--I am in a respiratory program that emphasizes exercise in moderation and building up slowly. Good luck it feels like they don't really have a definitive answer. Fran

@fmeronoff I should provide a bit more detail. I contracted Long COVID from my booster in November '21. That's the reason why I have been told not to get another booster.

Thank you, Colleen. This was very helpful and I hope others listen to this regarding the Covid booster. My only question is the form you complete at the Phcy when you go fo your flu vaccination, Covid vaccination, etc. It asks if you are not feeling well, and asks about your symptoms. In the past, I have been told to come back to get a flu shot after completing the form that I was not feeling well. Just the other day, when I picked up a Rx at the Phcy, I asked about the policy regarding the Covid booster and if I could get it, if I still was not feeling well. The answer was a flat "No", without even asking what the symptoms might be, so how do you get around the Phcy? Not answer the questionnaire honestly?? I am a very honest person, so that doesn't set well with me. I am not challenging you in any way, just asking what to do?

@pkh3381, that's an interesting and very valid query. I believe the questionnaire is referring to active "cold-like" symptoms not long-Covid symptoms. Is this what you are referring to?

Some people to get better after getting the booster. However, it has made other people’s much much worse.
Because my Long Covid symptoms are pretty bad, I will not risk getting the booster.
My doctors recommendation is to not get the booster.

I agree, right now I am torn. I have dealt with LC for over a year. My symptoms do not come nearly as often, but when they do it is frightening. I'm due for the next shot and I'm worried about getting it, but yet, worried if I don't. Like millions of others, I wish covid NEVER existed!

I’ll have to admit after I got this new booster my LC symptoms got worse. Kind of like they were increased. I wish I had some documentation on this. Wonder if I’ll get one every year. I was just feeling like I had my energy back ……..
