Mucinex

I have been taking 12 hour Mucinex twice a day. I read on label not to take ongoing……any opinions?

If I understand it right , you want to know how it is done. Sorry I am French lol

The doctor freeze my throat then put the beginning of the tube and I need to swallow Immediately put me to sleep lightly mediated but I feel nothing . It doesn’t take more than 10 min. For the whole process.

I have been on Augmentin a couple of times. One thing to note is that it does not work for Pseudomonas so if that is your main issue you might not notice much change.

@sweethighland It was used as a broad spectrum antibiotic when I had bronch. flares. Often my sputum was not tested but when it was I often cultured Haemophilus influenzae.

I think that’s what I had done into a bronchoscopy and clean up debri in there.

Thank you very much. I have Burkholderia cepecia, which is very hard to treat 🙁

Do you feel better after Augmetin? I sometimes wonder if I might need broad spectrum antibiotic rather than specific. Thank you.
