B-6 vitamin danger!
With the assistance of a neurologist at Mayo Clinic, I have almost completely eliminated the uncontrolled muscle spasms now. First and foremost: beware of taking multi-vitamin capsules that have B6 listed. B-6 overdosage (which is contained in every multivitamin I found in stores and on the internet) can cause loss of muscle control and spasms in some people. So can gluten found in many foods so now I am also gluten free. I now work out with a personal trainer 3 days a week and do water aerobics another 2 days. Got off gabapentin and also clonazepam. Using CBD oil capsules each morning (no more opioids or chemicals) and using a CBD topical ointment to rub on my leg muscles each night. He says I don't need him anymore! And I don't. No more shaking or muscle cramps or pain. Still a little numbness but that is receding also.

Hi lyn
Can you share with us what type of cbd you are using and the name of the cream
Hi johnbishop, I don't know what's going on with the B6 but I am going to ask for a retest of the B6 and B12 and calcium. My calcium is also too high now. I did find some crucial information to this puzzle of the peripheral neuropathy. I believe it is from the Flu Vaccine I got on November 15th. Yesterday I found my blood work from the day I had the flu shot and the Physician Assistant had run my calcium level and my calcium was perfect. After the onset of this peripheral neuropathy, I was tested for calcium by my new medical doctor and she found my calcium is too high now. The culprit goes back to the Flu Vaccine. No one knows our bodies better than we do.
Hi @cokie63, Mayo Clinic has some information on high calcium levels and associated side effects that may be helpful.

Hummm very interesting on the flu shot , I remember getting my flu shot every year , the onset of my peripheral neuropathy came about 2 years ago after my shot
Hi carryme, REALLY? How soon after was your neuropathy? This peripheral neuropathy started like within 4 days of the flu shot then I was in the ER by the 7th day but nobody asked about the flu shot and I didn't put the two together until my husband found the flu vaccine reactions online when we were trying to figure out the reasons for peripheral neuropathy and what happened to me so fast.
I just remember that I get my flu shot every year around the same time and shortly there after 2 years ago , I see some talking about having taken cipro and coming up with syppyoms ,
Hi John, sorry to bother you but can you point me in the right direction? I have not had any messages on my neuropathy site for about 7 days now . I don't think all our friends have deserted me. I emailed to connect but that email just came right back to me unanswered.
Many thanks.

Hi Arnrob @arnrob, Check to see if you are following the Neuropathy Group. Go to the top of any Connect discussion screen and click the Group link. Then on the Neuropathy Group page make sure that it says Following. If it says Follow, click the link and it will change to Following.
There is a link at the bottom of every Connect screen to the Get Started on Connect guide in the left column. The guide has a lot of good information on how to do tasks in Connect. Here's the link it goes to:

John
Hi lynsorenson.. what dosage of the CBD oil capsules do you use each day? Also what dosage of Vitamin B 12 do you use? I take 100 mg of Gabapentin 3x/day and have started taking about 20mg of CBD oil at night for sleep, which helps pain too. My new leg braces have improved walking 60 % with less pain and much less fatigue.
Thanks
Margot
To Good John,
Arnrob here. Just a quick note to say thanks for your guidance. Good job, as usual.
