Anyone been prescribed Ohtuvayre (new med)? Your experience?

Has anyone been prescribed the new COPD medication by their treatment team....Ohtuvayre? Just wondering if it now active, how it is effecting patients and how well it does/doesn't work

For some reason, Rx delivered by nebulizer are part B medicare while other Rx are part D.

Started it yesterday. I called the company and pharmacy. The residue looks like soap bubbles and is natural. Not clumpy solid.

The white clumps will easily dissolve if you shake the plastic ampule back and forth and tap on a flat surface. No problem. Not sure why the rep gave you that info. Others have mentioned they are fine once they shake them vigorously as well.

I've done that but I'll try again. Thanks.

I have tried warming it in my hands and that doesn't help. The clear liquid does turn a little milky but not close to a pale yellow. Verona Pharma supplied it. They're very nice but haven't resolved the issue for me as yet.

Verona is the manufacturer. A specialty pharmacy sends you the medication. Contact them. Try to speak with their pharmacist or customer service. Not Verona.
Also a lot of assistance available for payment. You could also check that with the specialty pharmacy.

I understand that but the 'bridge' package came directly from Verona. CVS is the Specialty Pharmacy that will send future refills but they would not speak with me since I did not get the product from them. Not happy about that.

I'm aware of a couple of financial assistance programs - applied for both. Have been approved for one. So, good news there!

Should be fine. Am sure the different temperatures around the country cause that.

Best of luck to you! Hope it works for you. I’m gonna try Dupixent next

Not sure that I understand what you mean by "you crashed." But do hope all is better! Ohtuvayre (OH) is meant to be an add-on medication. There certainly was alot of hype, their stock is going up and prescriptions are being written by the thousands, however, the feed-back that I have seen has not been all that great! Am so disappointed as I have had issues with Dupixent and Daliresp.....so was hoping this would be the answer!

Hello, I also had issues with Delaresp. I was on that for over a year and was in the bathroom a whole lot. Now they put me on this medicine OHTUVAYRE. I’ve only been on it for three days and I can’t catch my breath. I hadn’t been on it that long but I don’t see where it’s helping any it seems to be hurting me more than anything else so I stopped taking it and I will call my pulmonologist Monday morning

I was on it for about 6 weeks. Thought I would give it 3 months- but saw no results. Possibly worse. So I too recently stopped. Now waiting for Dupixent. But not optimistic about that either. Something to do with blood.
Hate this quality of life. Feeling discouraged b
