Anyone been prescribed Ohtuvayre (new med)? Your experience?

I go see doc on Tuesday and discuss Breztri or other option. Thanks. I saw a trial of the technical name for Ohtuvayre and noted the results combined with the add on tiotropium.

RESULTS: Mean age was 64.3 years, with 52.2% under 65 years of age. Patients were primarily female (57.5%), caucasian (90.1%) and current smokers (55.3%) with chronic bronchitis (59%). Day 1 baseline IC was similar between treatment groups. Placebo-corrected change from baseline in IC on Day 1 (2h post-dose) was 76, 62, 115 and 108 mL for the 0.375, 0.75, 1.5, 3.0 mg ensifentrine + tiotropium groups, respectively. The 1.5 and 3 mg doses showed statistically significant improvements (p< 0.01). After 4 weeks of twice-daily ensifentrine added to once daily tiotropium, there was a statistically significant improvement of 110.2 mL in IC (2 h post-dose) compared with placebo (tiotropium alone, p=0.0290) with the 3 mg ensifentrine dose + tiotropium treatment group.
CONCLUSIONS: This study demonstrates a clinically meaningful response in IC after treatment with 4 weeks of ensifentrine in COPD patients who remain symptomatic and with impaired lung function despite the use of tiotropium.

You’re the first I have read that it helped. I have tried anora and am on stiolto now. Neither has helped with shortness of breath. My rescue doesn’t either, I don’t know why. Dr suggested this medication but wants to wait for reviews. I don’t have mucus I have never coughed I just need something to open me up. What were you on prior to starting this medication?

He didn't comment on Breztri except he does not get any free samples for people to try, but i did ask. He seems to think Trelegy is doing more for me than I think it does, and I do feel a little bit of a boost on it depending on the day. I am back to using the ohtuvayre once a day, or once every other day to see what happens if I keep at it. But I changed a couple of things.
I don't think people realize how much caffeine may play a roll in breathing issues.. At least in my case. When you are above the 'edge" you don't notice it, but now that i am right on the edge I made the connection that even 1 coka cola or 1 cup of caffeine coffee for 2 or 3 days straight will put me down, and take 2 or 3 days to recover. That's a fact and would have never imagined that until I regressed down to the edge where any little thing can make a difference one way or the other. Drinking more water and eating less helps. Having over-inflated lungs that cannot expel air I do better with smaller meals.

I think many may not give it enough time to work. It definitely was not an overnight fix for me. I started the first week doing only 1 x per day and then twice daily.

I use Breztri as well.

I take Ohtuvayre as an effective add on to my other meds. I take Spiriva Respimat, Formoterol and Budesonide first thing in the morning; than wait 2-3 hours and then take Ohtuvayre. In the evening I repeat Formoterol and Budesonide; wait a few hours and then take Ohtuvayre. I have been taking Ohtuvayre since March 2 and am gradually starting to feel better. All meds are taken via my Aeromist Nebulizer.

No use in nebulizer

At first wasn't doing me much good then read need to shack it up very hard till it turns white before putting in nebulizer feel silly for not doing that but now really helping, Though this could help someone
