Troponin

Hi, had HCM asymptomatic for 20 years (helped by bisoprolol). Just had a great set of tests with a new cardiologist who said everything looked positive as there hadn't been any change in 20 years and my Mum who is alive at 92 has the condition. Had my first troponin test (38) and BNP test (+900) both abnormal, the BNP wasn't a worry for my cardiologist and he stated at my consultation that he expected the Troponin to be normal, which it isn't. Waiting to hear from him on this. Unfortunately whilst I have lots of historic values for my HCM, nothing historic for these tests. Just wondering whether this is normal for other HCM sufferers who have some history on whether there have been changes in these.
