@ddwish My husband had 2 valves replaced - mitral and tricuspid. When surgery was completed, they had to put him on ECMO. The cannula for the ECMO is larger then other cannulas and his femoral artery was torn when they were putting it in. Bloodbath!
My husband needed open heart surgery for the valve replacements. He had pacemakers for 30+ years prior to this surgery. He was/is 100% paced due to sinus node abalation. At present, he is on his 5th pacemaker. 30 years ago, treating his heart condition was so different then it is today. Praying for complete success for your June procedure.

@bigbon You have both been on a long journey, it is good to hear your husband has this in the back mirror and is experiencing the benefits of his new valves. Thank you for sharing.
