I've had covid since April 2022 and still have problems with temperature regulation. Most of the time I'm too hot. It's December in Montreal and I'm still walking around outside in sandals, light jacket, and skirts! On the other hand my body can suddenly switch and I'm shivering in the house and putting on my sweater. My understanding is that it's due to disfunction of the autonomic nervous system. Mine is whacky in many ways.

Yes me too. I am 75 so not menopause....sweatshirt on, then off....had no idea it could be related to long covid. Had covid last Christmas. 2023

YES! Had no idea why. Had covid 2 years ago. Way past menopause so surprising. But must be another post covid phenomenon.

I am really struggling with temperature regulation as well. Especially at night. It is 25°here at night, I have no heater on in my room and I am still sweating. My room is 45°. I have had long covid since January 2022. I get soooo hot, then put a sweatshirt on. It shifts in a second. My friends wear parkas when they come visit because I keep my house at 55°. Sooo frustrating. Heat makes all of my symptoms so much worse.

Hot then cold. All night, waking throwing off covers, then getting cold. Two years post COVID.

Yes!! Had Covid in 2022 and have been dealing with these sweating issues since but not sure if it’s from Covid itself or vaccine. I’m usually in summer wear even in the winter! I just keep hoping it will eventually adjust.

Yes indeed. I say my inner thermostat is busted. I overheat very easily. It's so frustrating to get out of the shower and start to sweat profusely because of the effort. I bought a small desk fan that operates off a small rechargeable battery pack. I can hold it easily and aim it at my face etc. if I need to without inconveniencing the household with a battle over the house thermostat.

Yep. It is super frustrating. My body does not feel like my own anymore.

Me Me Me!!! I thought I started menopause all over again! Its embarrassing, burning up for 5 - 10 minutes, then freezing, over and over again! I don't handle either one as gracefully as I would like!

Yes, all the time. In bed, it''s covers on, covers off....
My friend said maybe I'm going through menopause, but I'm not sweating and its random times. I mean, the men on here are obviously not in menopause, right!

last year if I did any kind of exertion, even walking up the stairs, the sweat would literally drip off my chin, not I don't sweat at all, even when I should be...
