The doctor turned it on around noon today. It was supposed to take a minute or so to hold the sides in order to activate it took about 10 seconds. Works great……so far.

I was worried there would be a problem because I felt a loop of tubes inside near the top of the thing but the doctor says there’s no kinks and it sure worked right away.

I just opened a new package of Tena pads, my last!!!

Oh wow : ((((, such a beautiful home, its a shame : (((. Luckily it did not fall in the middle (God forbid) *sigh Just crazy weather indeed and the tree is so tall - honestly there was some luck in all of this , I know that it sounds ridiculous perhaps, but it could have been much worse : (((. I am saying this so perhaps you can find some comfort that only the edge of the one roof got effected.
I am also so sorry to hear about your poor granddaughter - I really hope that she is not going to the same surgeon over and over again since he does not know what he is doing : (((. I wish that I am Gates (but only money-wise of course) and can help you bring your granddaughter to the Bay Area to see the best sport medicine surgeons because they are always the best. *sigh I am soooo, sooo sorry : ((( I really hope that all will end up well with her leg 😢, such a sad circumstance for such a young mother , just not fair ... : (((((

Sending hugs and healing vibes to your whole family <3

My oncologist had told me the urologist was really an artist, And I would be happy with the results.

I didn’t spend much time with her today, but when she was about to walk out of the room, she hugged me. I hugged her back. She was real pleased with how well it went, She did tell me I had it much easier than many people.

I did have one problem when the stitches in my perineum came loose (my fault sitting down wrong, somehow) And there was a significant hole. I went to a urologist that’s more local, to take a look at it, He told me to wash it twice a day, and hopefully it will heal up, If it didn’t, they would have to pull all of the AUS out. They couldn’t close the stitches because that could close in an infection. The Doctor who did the surgery then said use Betadine twice a day on it. Fortunately, it had completely closed up when I went to see her today.

It’s definitely a relief to have this over.
