I can only imagine your excitement and relief !!!
Now you are free from constant worry about leaking and you can travel and be active without any annoying squirts or anything - that is just AWESOME !!! 🙌

Your surgeon must be happy too : ))) - I always criticize doctors but I know that they are genuinely happy and proud when surgery goes well. Is he also at Kiser ? : )))) You really found just the best MO and surgeon in the area - I am so happy for you : )))) !

Well what more can I say but - ENJOY !!!! *hugssssssssss : ))) And keep us posted !!!! : )))

My oncologist had told me the urologist was really an artist, And I would be happy with the results.

I didn’t spend much time with her today, but when she was about to walk out of the room, she hugged me. I hugged her back. She was real pleased with how well it went, She did tell me I had it much easier than many people.

I did have one problem when the stitches in my perineum came loose (my fault sitting down wrong, somehow) And there was a significant hole. I went to a urologist that’s more local, to take a look at it, He told me to wash it twice a day, and hopefully it will heal up, If it didn’t, they would have to pull all of the AUS out. They couldn’t close the stitches because that could close in an infection. The Doctor who did the surgery then said use Betadine twice a day on it. Fortunately, it had completely closed up when I went to see her today.

It’s definitely a relief to have this over.
