Understand why you had to do what you had to do. Very sorry for this added to everything that you are dealing with.

Oh wow : ((((, such a beautiful home, its a shame : (((. Luckily it did not fall in the middle (God forbid) *sigh Just crazy weather indeed and the tree is so tall - honestly there was some luck in all of this , I know that it sounds ridiculous perhaps, but it could have been much worse : (((. I am saying this so perhaps you can find some comfort that only the edge of the one roof got effected.
I am also so sorry to hear about your poor granddaughter - I really hope that she is not going to the same surgeon over and over again since he does not know what he is doing : (((. I wish that I am Gates (but only money-wise of course) and can help you bring your granddaughter to the Bay Area to see the best sport medicine surgeons because they are always the best. *sigh I am soooo, sooo sorry : ((( I really hope that all will end up well with her leg 😢, such a sad circumstance for such a young mother , just not fair ... : (((((

Sending hugs and healing vibes to your whole family <3

@diverjer Been there, done that, more than once. When your own home or home of a close friend or relative is affected, it is a special kind of motivation. Glad the tree didn’t bust a truss or the end wall framing. Roof plywood and shingles are way easier to repair.
