Our Pets Bring Us Joy

Posted by judimahoney @judimahoney, Oct 4 5:58pm

In so many posts folks share, pets come up a lot.
I thought I'd start a new topic where we can share photos of our pets, furry, scaly, whatever.
Bonus points if they're in a Halloween costume. 🎃
This is our rescue, Freja. She is an Australian Cattle Dog (and we have no cattle).
She has become my therapy dog with no training, she just knows when I'm upset and comes to me.
As they say, who rescued whom?

Here is a photo of our sweet Betty White who passed away a year ago at age 12. I miss her every day.

@judimahoney THANK YOU! Our girl, Frankie, needed to be put to sleep yesterday. She had cancer and could no longer hold water down. It was time. She blessed our lives for 12 years and was a stray that would not leave. Hubby was definitely her person. She loved me but ADORED Daddy.

We stopped by the adoptions to cheer ourselves up and an 11week old chihuahua terrier mix and I locked eyes and couldn’t leave without her. Her name is Nina.

Our angel Frankie

Betty was a beauty. So sorry for your loss. I do love that name. ☺️ Thanks for the sweet photos.

@judimahoney as they say beautiful inside and out. She had been abandoned . When I took her for the vet the first time she was full of fleas and we learned that she was still a puppy. Took her to a groomer to get her fleas taken care of and bit of a hair do. 🙂

My mom with advanced dementia, is really enjoying her robotic cat named "Peaches". It is very interactive with her. Petting, holding, brushing and speaking with the cat (cat talks back) gives mom a lot of comfort. No feeding and no litterbox and this is perfect for her.
