Our Pets Bring Us Joy

In so many posts folks share, pets come up a lot.
I thought I'd start a new topic where we can share photos of our pets, furry, scaly, whatever.
Bonus points if they're in a Halloween costume. 🎃
This is our rescue, Freja. She is an Australian Cattle Dog (and we have no cattle).
She has become my therapy dog with no training, she just knows when I'm upset and comes to me.
As they say, who rescued whom?

@tunared I will show you our new uninvited visitor. This morning I was going to water my big hoya kerri plant and a pink nose popped out. I screamed. I ran to get my long BBQ tongs and pulled away some branches of leaves. Here is my new pet, George Jones. Not really but I do have an odd sense of humor.

@tunared The opossum really was in my plant. It was pretty cozy in there too. Pul a towel over the plant and took it outside.

I would probably be committed if I didn't have my "little" (105 lb) English Lab. We have great discussions (he's an awesome listener) and puts me right to sleep when he sleeps with me. Because my wife doesn't know me, I am a stranger to her and have to sleep in the spare bedroom with Norm.

We had one get stuck in our fence, while our dog was FREAKING out! Very challenging getting her back in the house.😬

Oppossums are really very good creatures. I just don't want them in my house! (or attic)LOL
It hitchiked apparently when I brought a plant in from outside and was very quiet and snuggled during the day but at night (yep nocturnal) looked around and knocked some things over and broke a branch on a fiddle leaf fig tree. LOL
Glad its outside now.
