Patti- I think that you mentioned that there was one particular thing that was causing your anxiety. You mentioned in an earlier post that you were having a bad time of it lately. Is it one thing or just things piling up?

Yes my sister in England fell and factured her leg. She's home from the hospital but very depressed and down because she can't walk or really not do much of anything. Her husband is like mine always there for her. That has been quite a concern for me…..also many other things, maybe we can get into all of that at a later date but right now its my sister and yes things are piling up…………Patti

I also have IBS. Wakes me up during the night with discomfort. Went to emergency room 3 times last year because I was in such pain
All the doctors said it was IBS but a month later a report came by mail state incidently found a leson on my liver. I called right away
to find out more and another doctor looked (remember 3 other doctors had not seen anything) could not see anything and said most probably someone put in the wrong code I still worry about it. But really after all the scans and all the doctors hadn't seen anything
but it still concerns me. Patti
Patti. I'm so sorry that your sister has broken leg. Perhaps you can help guide her out of her slump. She'll be up and about soon I would imagine. Make plans with her to go shopping, etc. Bring over new movies, do make up or nails.
These should cheer her up unless you are worried that something more might result from her fall?

Patti. A lesson on my liver showed up on one of my CT scans. I was petrified. Then it disappeared. Our bodies grow things and then get rid of them all the time. Also shadows can appear and they look like growths.
I know that IBS is very difficult. I'm sorry that you have to deal with it.

We just try to stay in touch by emailing and phone. God Bless Patti
Thank you so much you have given me a lot of confidence and I appreciate it. Since reading your mail I just feel
so much better. God Bless you sweet lady. Patti

Hi, @pjss48 – good to hear you got a good night's sleep. I moved your post here so that the members talking with you about your sleep could see how things are going.
If you ever wonder where you posted about some topic before on Connect and want to post an update, go up to your avatar image at the top of any page (you have a shadow image of a human upper body and head), hover over it, and you will see a menu. In that menu, select "My Profile." In your profile, scroll down to the bottom, and you will see a list of all the posts you've ever made on Connect.
What made the difference for you in getting good sleep last night?

@brit I was in another area of Connect and for a different condition light therapy was suggested. Have you tried that? If your feelings are especially pronounced in the winter that could help, using full spectrum lights. The one downside of them is that if you are prone to migraines they can cause one, from what I have heard.
I don't think they are too terribly expensive so they could be worth a try if affordable.
The same goes for you, @pjss48.

Patti- Is there something specific that you can share so that I could understand more?
