Thanks so much. Yes, all that we could do has been done. We think he has taken on a new identity. He had been looking at a book called Leaving without a trace. I think he has not contacted anyone he ever knew. He was never a person to break the law in any way. We think he felt he didn’t have any other choice but this. He couldn’t have known how much it would hurt us for him to do this. It puts us in a club we never wanted to be in?

I'm glad that you found our replies. Sometimes notifications do get into my Spam filter as well.
I can't imagine how confused you and his wife must be. I suppose hindsight is always 20/20 and now you can see the warning signs.
Please feel free to share your hurt and confusion as you wish. We are here to read your posts and be a listening ear.
I will certainly pray for you and your son.
@maone My thoughts and prayers are with all of you I cant imagine the hurt you all feel. So sorry for your lose the not knowing has to be terrible .
I am sorry this happened to you and your family. Though people can post on this website, we can't take away your hurt. However, we can listen to your feelings.
Yes, and thank you very much ❤️
Thank you so much ! Not knowing is terrible. Nothing looks the same anymore except I have grown closer to Jesus I know He will never leave me. I know that He knows where my son is.
@maone Yes, experiences like this do lead us to an anchor (an anchor that helps keep us safe and steady). I hope to hear from you on a regular basis. We are here to listen and encourage you.
Hi. There is nothing we on this forum can say to take the pain away. But we can listen. This is a safe place. Please let us continue to listen and pray.
Thank you so much ❤️
Yes, please 🙏
You are a mentor! I wonder why the email replies went to my junk mail? I’m not sure I’m using this right ? I was surprised to see the replies I got. I hope I haven’t missed any. Thank you very much
Hi @maone – my heart is aching for you. I am not that great at technology but I'm going to ask @johnbishop for help. He is a mentor and he is a Tech Whiz! John, can you help @maone figure out how to keep our Connect emails from going to her spam/junk folder. She has more than enough to deal with. If I could help her, I would. Thanks in advance!
Hi @maone — Normally you can view the list of messages in your spam/junk folder and when you see a message that is not junk, click your right mouse button on the message and there should be some options. One of the options should be something like "this is not junk/spam". You click on that option and it will move it to the inbox again.
Thanks @johnbishop – you do so much good for all of us.
