My mother constantly on phone canceling appts & texting unknowns

Don’t know how to handle this behavior because she becomes irate that “ she” can work her phone She’s constantly responding to automated texts ( that have no response) & swears they’ve answered her with direction She cancels appointments continues to ask wrong people for answers I don’t want to take that independence away from her and I’m her only caretaker and she insists on ptexting people with bogus information What scares me most is she has ongoing email and texts with people she believes that want to be her friend (ie some comedy club?) has been emailing her telling her how funny she is??? And she should pursue her dreams ) I’ve tried blocking callers / unknowns - but they return. any suggestions about monitoring the phone is helpful
this disease is a monster and the character constitution it demands is exhausting here’s praying for strength and fortitude to all of us Lynn
