My grandson has a recent diagnosis of vascularitis in the brain. What is the length of treatment and the typical prognosis?

Hi @RonBraun
Welcome to Connect. I’m glad you found this community of patients and family members connecting with one another.

Here is some general information about vascularitis http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/vasculitis/basics/definition/con-20026049 and specifically CNS vascularitis here http://www.vasculitisfoundation.org/education/forms/central-nervous-system/

How old is your grandson?

How challenging this must be for the whole family. Am I right in assuming that this was a long journey to diagnosis?
