MAC Diagnosis and Medication side effects

I hope my question doesn't dishearten any trying members of this forum, but did anyone consider not going on medications for MAC because of the side effects?

Exercise and being active is so helpful in so many ways for everyone- lung disease or healthy people. It's good for us physically and mentally!

Exercise has been incredibly important for mental good health for me. I'm fortunate to bike, swim, play pickleball, and walk almost every day. I'm an 81 year senior person who is beyond fortunate to love sports and have a spouse who participates with me. Our motto is: You don't stop playing because you're old. You get old because you stop playing! I understand that many people don't feel well enough to do much physically, but mental health is extremely important so I encourage everyone to try some form of exercise 😊

I take the big three every day. MY doctor has me do a blood test every two weeks,
an EKG once a month, and hearing test and vision test every two months.

I forgot. I also do a three specimen sputum test every two months.
