Is anyone using a cpap mask that's causing face wrinkles
I've been using a cpap mask for a year and noticing how it's wrinkling my face so much. I'm struggling with the masks I've tried but can't seem to find the right fit. Can anyone please tell me what else I can do to keep from aging so fast? All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have mask that covers my nose only.
I have had trouble getting it red spot on my nose. If I see that happening I put a small band-Aid over my bridge of my nose and that helps.
I have very low air coming out, but it does help me to sleep better and that is very good
Welcome to getting old as I was told

1 Reaction@minnesota10 lol, I also used the nasel mask only and it was cause my nose to chap a lot. I used little covers that I purchased at Amazon and a cream as well but couldn't handle the pain in my nose. I went back to using the f20. I just don't have a good medical device company that truly cares about the patients needs. It's all about insurance money.

1 ReactionI understand about the insurance and the cost of things.
Call the place you got your mask at. I know Mayo Store is where I go and call if I am having trouble with my mask. Many years ago a doctor told me to put little vaseline where it hurts it helps me. Right now I as using a small mask that covers just the nose.
Good luck.

Did you have a choice of S, M or L pillows? The little inserts are sized differently. The first mask came with one of each size to try. Now I order only Medium for my 3 month supply and replace every 2 weeks.
Try an interventional dentist. They may be able to fit you will a mouth guard that repositions your jaw, so that a cpap machine is not necessary.
The other alternative is surgery.
It all depends on why you are on night cpap. Do you have a lung disease?
@minnesota10 thank you for the tip on the Vaseline. I've tried talking to the people at the AeroCate where my equipment comes from but all they do is send masks without exactly knowing if it fits right or not. And to return things is a big headache as well I'm trying to see if I can find a different company instead. Thank you again. Have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday.
Also, call the company that makes the masks. I think they will be very helpful.

Yes. I use small. But every face is different.
All the company that made the mask.
@minnesota10
Call the company or google it. I did and I got a better fit.
@minnesota10 I am 75 years old and have been using cpap for many years. I am currently using the ResMed AirTouch F20 Full Face CPAP Mask System and find it most comfortable. There is an app measures your head and face and recommend the proper size. You can mix match such have small for both mask and headgear or medium mask and small head gear. It is covered by Medicare. I like the cushion which very comfortable. I found this is much better than the the older full face mask which caused leak all night. Good luck!
