Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I call it resonating. I have peripheral neuropathy although I can’t get anybody to tell me that. I have all the symptoms. I got it three months ago .took a muscle relaxer because I hurt my back woke up the next morning with pins and needles from head to toe. I have the unbelievable crazy symptoms. It’s like a horror movie.

I have polyneuropathy. I have started having internal vibrations in my pelvis. My bits ache and the tops of my legs too. I am scared.

Oh yes, I am experiencing the same thing, constantly. I was told it is anxiety, but I do not feel anxious. I wonder about Parkinson’s?

Definitely yes. I was told that it could be from having had COVID twice. I checked the Mayo site which assured me it was definitely a thing. If it gets worse I will pursue a diagnosis. Right now it is not a bother.

Yes yes yes. My psych nurse said it could be my medication. I have not seen the doctor yet but have a physical coming up. I call them internal tremors or quivers. Mine comes in spurts. I'll get them for a few weeks then go months without them then they come back again. I was worried it was a seizure thing. Because it happens so little I never think to ask my doctor when I see her. I hope you get it figured out.

Probably food reaction. I have many different reactions. Buzzing in my ankle. Muscle spazm and headaches and brain fog. Try eating all natural, no process foods for awhile and see if you get better.

Hello @jdallmon! Welcome to Connect. Thanks for joining the conversation. How has eating natural helped your symptoms? Have you been following any specific type of diet?

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this too. I have had that sensation since getting the jab in 21. I had a bad reaction that attacked my nervous system. Now they say its “long covid and me/cfs”. Unfortunately no real cure, inly managing symptoms. Good luck I hope you find the source and cure it!!

I have them too. The vibrations/tremor are not dangerous so just know that. My theory is that it is central nervous system related but I am not a doctor.

Mine started after getting the covid jab. They told me its “long covid and me/cfs. They gave me amitriptyline for the pain and anxiousness that the vibrations cause. I have only been on it for a few days, i will update when I know more!! Stretching and Qigong helps quiet them as well. Beat wishes for some insight!
