How about a laugh, (hopefully)

I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.

On a more serious side though, I too hate the way some children behave these days. It is so obviously the influence of TV. Many parents are not restrictive at all with what they allow them to watch on TV and the movies they allow them to go to. For some reason though, this current generation of twenty-somethings seem to be a bit better, more polite and considerate. My husband and I have both noticed that. I hope it continues. Maybe the pendulum swung too far in the bad direction and it was an awakening to parents.

@marvinjsturing I should add, my husband and son are such huge Patriots fans that whenever there is a game on the phone calls and texts go back and forth in a rapid manner. My son managed to find the bar close to him when he was in CA that was basically for Boston fans, and now that he's in Denver he's found one there too! Fortunately, his fiancee comes from the SC and there is really no NFL team there that people are fans of, they follow college football, so she is now a Patriots fan too.

On a more serious side though, I too hate the way some children behave these days. It is so obviously the influence of TV. @contentandwell Unfortunately, it is not just "young people" who no longer show respect for others. It really bothers me to see politicians on both sides of the aisle show so little respect for each other and for truth and honesty. They will say anything just to make their side look good and the other side look bad.

@marvinjsturing @lioness Absolutely. They are only interested in themselves, and getting re-elected. It really is pathetic. I think there are still a few decent ones out there, but unfortunately, very darned few.
