I believe laughter is the best medicine. Laughter has actually been scientifically proven to help people with depression issues.
Let’s give it a try so we can all get happy and feel better. Many Epilepsy forums I’ve been on had joke sections. I was probably the biggest joke of all since I didn’t get a lot of the jokes. They said the jokes couldn’t be above 4th grade level for me to understand them so my jokes may be rather simplistic but let’s give it a try.
Have a lovely day everyone,
Jake
@jakedduck1 Good thing I was sitting alone in my car when I read these!

@jakedduck1 I dunno. I rarely eat red meat. My husband likes to BBQ. Methinks the grease dripping down would really mess it up.

If I were you I would put the idea of "steak in a toaster" on hold for a while. There must be a safer way, but thanks for the smile.

@jakedduck1 I would like to weigh in on steak in a toaster. Ya'll just haven't got the right tool in mind; uppity folks call it a George Foreman Grill. P.S. my son's favorite kitchen tool!

So I’m getting the impression you kids don’t think my toaster steak is a good idea. I am seriously considering getting a cheapie toaster to test out the idea. Put it in the yard in case it blows up or catches on fire. Seems like such a good idea. Wish I liked steak tartare. Life would be so much simpler.

If I get a George Foreman Grill it will be one more kitchen gadget I won’t use. I had a cook for two months but she left. Guess it’s time to man up and cook but a lot less painful to grovel and act pathetic, maybe someone will toss me a bone.

@jakedduck1 Um, when you have the fire dept respond, make sure you leave us out of the conversation. Don't think any of us will back you up.

Hi,
I was intrigued by the toaster steak so I went online and whaddaya know! There are YouTube videos showing you how to do just that. Also ironing your steak and wrapping it and cooking it in a dishwasher lol. I would try it…cheap toaster outside…..It won’t pop up because it will be too heavy so be careful taking it out of the toaster and don’t touch metal prongs to the inside. You’ll have to do it a few times until you get the right doneness. Maybe you could find a toaster that has the wider opening for bagels, otherwise a thin cut will have to do. Don’t know how you would clean the toaster so I imagine after a while the grease buildup would start a fire.
Sounds safer than frying a whole turkey in oil. We did that once on vacation….delicious .

I like your username Mary. Very creative.
I knew the toaster steak was a good idea. I’m gonna check out those videos. I guess everything imaginable is on YouTube but I never think to go there. I thought it sounded like a good idea.
Off to YouTube I go for some inspiration.
Agatha Christie said “I don't think necessity is the mother of invention. Invention . . . arises directly from idleness, possibly also from laziness. To save oneself trouble. That’s my goal in the kitchen.
The guy who first invented the computer said he was to lazy to do the calculations so he invented the computer.

Last fall, I saw this message on a sign while passing thru Durango CO while on vacation.
I have a horse,
His name is Mayo.
Mayo "Neighs".

That’s great and it will put a smile on the face of everyone who sees it. I use to pass a chiropractors office on the way to work and he had a marquee with a funny quote or comment related to chiropractors, bone, pain etc. There were days I burst out laughing and tried to remember it so I could pass it on. Wouldn’t it be great if more businesses did that.? Passing along those endorphins .

This is suppose to be a joke but it sounds like an excellent idea. I’ll have to try it.
Why don't men cook at home?
No one's invented a steak that will fit in the toaster.
