Entire spine hurts - Due to Fibromyalgia?

Posted by frustrated47 @frustrated47, Dec 5, 2018

Hi. I am a 47 year old female, diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2004. Now my entire spine hurts from scull to SI joints. I have 3 bulging disks cervical, 4 disks lumbar, 2 thorasic. My lower back feels like it's being crushed all the time. all the nerves in my legs hurt. I have muscle spasms, stiffness, joint pain, nerve pain, degenerative risk disease, and I can hardly walk. Sitting kills me!
Been on lyrica many years. I'm wondering if anyone out there is going through this with fibro. My doctors are saying all these symptoms are caused from fibro but I'm not convinced.

@iamlisa sounds like you’ve had and are still having lots of pain. I’m not sure what am ACDF is , but I’m wondering if it is a cervical fusion? How disheartening to have a procedure only to come away from that with such intense, life-altering pain. I do know & have been told that ongoing pain can cause depression...I know that when I’m about to start a Fibro flare, I first notice a change in mood. Sounds like you are doing all you can to get relief. I wish you better days ahead.

Wouldn’t it be great if we found out the cause of Fibro? I know there are still people, & some are in the medical field too, who don’t believe it’s a real medical condition

The weather in my area of Florida is beautiful today. I'm thankful for that since it helps the fibro when the temp rises. I've taken my vitamins and supplements, including Fibro Malic. I know Fibro is a complex disorder which effects the entire body. Lately I have had occasional blurry vision. Yesterday it was so bad I could not read anything on the computer but there were things I needed to complete--you know, those pesky bills waiting to be paid, LOL Lucky for me I had a pair of glasses that were like new that I just couldn't get made correctly.(long backstory here) So I put them on and was able to complete my tasks and watch the evening news as well.
How about you? Do you get suddenly get a new symptom that stops you in your tracks?
