Excruciating Pain in R Shoulder from Bicipital Tenosynovitis

Posted by babette @babette, May 11, 2020

I'm in major pain. I had arthroscopic surgery on my L shoulder for bicipital tenosynovitis a few years ago and my ortho doc thinks it's now affecting my R shoulder. My doc wants an MRI but was reluctant to provide pain meds that are worth anything! Can anyone relate? What helps?

@babette. Is it possible to at least get a cortisone injection? I had a very painful shoulder about 10 years ago. I don’t recall what the diagnosis was, but I went two times for cortisone shots and after the second one I never had a problem again! I wish cortisone would worked as well on my bursitis.

@babette I’ll be hoping that the ortho will have a great solution for your pain. Being in pain constantly really wears on a person.
