I make sure I’m getting extra fluids and fiber daily. Check fiber content of foods and up fiber. I take a powdered probiotic and fiber that mixes with liquids, is clear and tasteless. I also use a stool softener twice daily! I have lost 92.6# and my apnea is much improved. Some days the app says I have no episodes per hour or just a partial one.

1 ReactionI e been on Zepbound, it was prescribed because of sleep apnea. I just had surgery, having the Inspire put in. I’ve gone from 157 to 139. I’m hoping when I get the inspire turned on, I won’t be so Sleep deprived or I should say I’ll have a good pattern of sleep without stop breathing!! Yes I’m on Medicare and United Healthcare

2 ReactionsI also have Wellcare and they denied it several times but I had my endocrinologist as well as my GP send in narratives and I also had a back up with my pulmonary doctor who did the sleep apnea test but it turned out I didn't need him to send in a narrative. Just be persistent and hopefully they will relent.

1 ReactionI take 1/2 tbsp of Miralaz and 1/2 tbsp of Optifiber daily and have had no issues so far. I am eating less and feel full and have been on 2.5mg of Zepbound for almost three full weeks now and have lost almost 10 pounds. I still would like to lose about 25 more so here's hoping I can stay on the Zepbound for long enough to get the rest of the weight off and improve my health as well as my sleep.

1 ReactionOh my goodness, good for you. That is amazing. I do take some Benefiber and some miralax daily and I have had no issues so far so you might want to try that. I just take about 1/2 tbsp of each in my morning de-caf coffee.

2 ReactionsNo I never had the drug. I had sleep apnea and it went away after I lost some weight. So good luck.

1 ReactionThank you. Still hard work. The shots aren’t magic. The fiber I take is a generic Benefiber…just less expensive. I didn’t think Miralax should be used daily.…so I stay away from it. I find the fiber powder and stool softener are enough for me. Colace is the stool softener has been around for years. I use a generic of those too. It can be used daily. I use a magnesium chew if I get stopped up. I sometimes set my alarm on the phone for every half hour to get my fluids in. That really helps. I have a couple swallows when the alarm goes off.
Wow, good for you. I tried to lose weight but it was really hard to do. I have underlying health concerns and it is very hard for me to do any kind of exercise so that makes it so hard to lose weight. I am happy for you that you no longer have sleep apnea and that you were able to lose weight.
Can you tell me the name of the powdered probiotic and fiber supplement that you take that mixes with water? I am in my fourth week of taking the Zepbound and now have found the Laxiclear and the Benefiber aren't working as well as they were in the beginning. Thank you.

1 ReactionSugar Free Natural Fiber Powder- Prebiotic Fiber Supplement. I get it from Target, it is their Up&Up Brand. 125 doses for under $13. I watch for sales. I use 3 spoonfuls. I have never tried Benefiber so I’m not sure if it works better. I think the Generic Colace-stool softener helps too! It’s Docusate Sodium 100mg. I took pictures to show you but whoops no way to attach them. Try to up your fiber from food too if you can. I know it can be miserable until you find the perfect concoction. Best wishes!
