Anyone experience anxiety due to caregiving? How to cope?

Does anyone experience anxiety due to caregiving ? If so, how do you cope when it strikes? (It begins with overwhelming dread out of left field; very heavy & ominous- then lightheaded/dizzy. I never had this before becoming a caregiver)

Thank you!

It's the stress. Eventually you will have clinically diagnosable symptoms which will need treatment.
Take breaks. Tea. Meditate. Talk to someone about something else. Sing. Get a speed bag.🥊🥊

At first I had bouts of high anxiety with light-headed dizziness. I spoke with a doctor about it too, and it passed after a couple months. Stress and bursts of adrenaline can make one a bit dizzy.

@gratia I do have anxiety but honestly caregiving has increased it at times.

I wanted to tell you how much I love the photos you post. Here is one to share with you. It just makes me smile (I guess I have an odd sense of humor) and I enjoy doing this in the month of October with some of my indoor and outdoor plants. Hope it makes you smile a little.

Thank you so much for your understanding the anxiety- not that I wish it upon anyone.
The photo is so fun and made me smile- thank you! 😊

@porfe81 Thank you! I’m hoping to have it go away. I prefer a natural and homeopathic approach to dealing with these things.

@shmerdloff yes to breaks, tea and the meditation or hitting a punching bag! 🤗✨

@gratia Me too. When this all started I was pretty keyed up. In the evenings I would wind down (after getting my wife to bed) by reading a dull book, drinking some water, and checking my blood pressure too. Walks during the day, by myself for a few minutes, also help.
