Help: Chest pain, high heart rate, exhaustion
Update: I'm still having chest pain almost 4 months, high heart rate and now exhaustion. Every test has came back normal and my doctor doesn't really know what else to do. Does anyone on here know if it would be worth it to go to Mayo and see if they can't figure it out. I'm at my witts end, I'm in pain 24/7 and I don't know what else to do. For anyone who hasn't been following my journey the tests I've had done are CT of abdomen and pelvis, echo, chest xray, multiple blood tests, holter monitor, ekgs, kidney Doppler and ultrasound, upper GI scope. I've also tried medications like proilsec, a prescription for anti-inflammatory. These havent helped my chest pain.

Good morning @abdoanna and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. How scary for you husband to have pain in his left chest and no answers. It does sound like something is going on so I’m glad that you found us. We’re not doctor so we can’t diagnose him. Have you seen anyone besides your family doctor? I’m going to see if any members can join the conversation and help. While we’re waiting, i suggest that you and your husband start keeping a journal: when pain happens, location, severity, how long the pain episode lasts, any triggers like food or drink, anything you can think of. Also, include what your husband was doing when the pain started and if he was experience any stress. This will help to paint a picture for the doctors
I, too had severe chest pain that started shortly after i was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I saw a cardiologist and had all the tests and was finally diagnosed with esophageal spasms. Now, i only experience them maybe twice a year. They are no fun but , at least, i know they’re not serious.
Will you keep a journal and then let me know how things are going?
