Valve Disease
I'm wondering if anyone has had symptoms of valve disease that did not show up on a resting echocardiagram (ultrasound of the heart) I believe I'm having persistent symptoms of valve disease. After I exercise, sometimes a few hours later I feel pressure in my chest, shortness of breath, and sometimes fluid retention. My doctor insists that my ultrasound, ejection fraction, and valves are normal but i'm wondering if there is a valve that causes a problem only when stressed with exercise. My coronary arteries are clear. ( I just had a coronary angiogram)

Peach-Are you strong enough to get compression stocking on?
Carly- Is it your Mitral Valve?
@susanjc I don't think compression stockings will help she needs her valves to be opened to let blood flow up and down do you know something I don't? Im a retired nurse.
Cannot apply the thigh high (all the way up to the abdomen) stockings. It takes 2 people and I have the smallest size prescribed so they are very tight. Yes, you are correct I need the valves opened/closed. I was tricked by going to doctors? who did not do the application. I am really feeling it now. I live in Marion County, Florida. Ocala to be exact. I do not know how correct I am but it seems to me that some of the doctors here in Ocala are frauds. Some how I need to save/get up the money to to the Mayo clinic in forget where, north of me. I thank you Lioness and all others.

1 ReactionSorry, no.
Lioness-Just trying to get more information. I feel she needs someone to help better understand what procedures were done as a start and why they were not effective.
Peach--I feel you need a better understanding of the procedures performed on you and why they not were effective. A vascular surgeon may be a consideration of someone to see. Meanwhile a wound care doctor can help with any open sores you may have on your legs and feet.
