Has anyone ever been on Duloxetine (Cymbalta) for nerve pain?

Has anyone ever been on Duloxetine (Cymbalta) for nerve pain? I've had 2 doctors push this on me. I know that the side effects can be terrible and getting off of it difficult as it requires titration. One time I remember taking one pill, and not liking the way it made me feel, so not taking any more, and still feeling the "weirdness" from it 2-3 days later. and that was only 30 mg Please pass along any experience or advice from this medication?

I’m sure that was awful! I’m on 90 ml a day and it helps my nerve pain a lot. I also take gabapentin and compounded naltrexone. Have you tried those? Best to you.

I went on Duloxetine 30 mg a year ago for nerve pain in my feet. Didn't notice that it helped much so doctor upped the dosage to 60 mg. Several months after taking 60 mg I got explosive diarrhea and couldn't leave the house for months. Thought it was gall bladder or pancreas issues so had all sorts of testing which was a waste of time. It was on this site six weeks ago that I read a post from a lady who said Duloxetine caused her uncontrollable diarrhea. I shared this with my neurologist who has weaned me off the drug the last month. My diarrhea has disappeared and my doctor said I likely had microscopic colitis caused by the Duloxetine. I also suffer from PPPD and it has worsened since getting off the Duloxetine. But, life goes on and we deal with our problems.

Duloxetine, I started with 90mg and now have reduced it to 60 mg a day. I took it for depression, but it supposedly helps with neuropathy, leg cramps, etc. Diarrhea, not here, but the so called help with neuropathy I don't believe so as it (neuropathy) has worsen over the years. I do throw darts at the Rx chart to see if I can find relief, still throwing.
