@colleenyoung
Hi Colleen,
I am trying to send a private message.
1. I clicked a member’s username which brought me to the member’s profile page
But
2. When I clicked it did not say “Send a Private Message”?
Has the member disabled it?
Or, am I doing something wrong?
Many thanks
Kind regards
Scottie
@steiner Hi Scottie. If you’re not able to send a private message to the member, they may have chosen not to receive messages.
Or, if the member is new, there is a delay in the ability for private messaging. Wait a couple of days to see if that status changes.

5 ReactionsHello!
After a bit of a hiatus, I logged into my account the other day to ask a question, but later noticed, I was not getting any notifications of responses in my email.
Found a comment somewhere that stated the system was revamped to make it more user-friendly, so went into my options as so well-stated above, but I still am not getting any notifications or daily digest.
I went in to check and I had a bunch of replies!
Can someone please check and see what I need to do to get email-notified of replies and daily digest.
Thanks so very much for this invaluable site.

1 Reaction@glinda47 - It may be that your email address has bounced and not letting the Connect site send you email notifications. You can use the Contact a Community Moderator form (link at the bottom of any Connect page) and let @colleenyoung or one of the moderators know and they can check to see what the problem is. Here's the direct link to the form -- https://connect.mayoclinic.org/contact-a-community-moderator/

1 Reaction@glinda47, welcome back. @johnbishop was right. Your email had bounced. In other words, your email provider signaled to us that the email was no longer valid. This can happen for a variety of reasons. I'm glad that you reported it and that you’d like to continue getting emails from Mayo Clinic Connect.
I re-instated your email to the mailing list.
To help prevent it from happening again, please add mailto:noreply@n1.hubapplication.com to your email address book or safe sender list. Here is more information.

Hi Colleen,
Very appreciative for your reply and for adding me back to the Mayo mailing list. Can't believe my email bounced Mayo, but then, anything can happen out here in cyberspace. Far be it for me to figure things out the way I used to. Everything is moving too fast including my age!
I added the address you provided to my contacts.
Once again, thanks for helping me out and including this great info.
Looking forward to receiving emails from Mayo again.
