Toes ain't so bad, but still sucks! I found that the docs di everything for me the insurance would pay for (stents both legs then arterial bypass with cadaver artery) but none worked. Amputation helped¿!
Best wishes
PAD patient with very little circulation to toes.
For 2 months : experiencing numbness + pain in right big toe.
In last 2 days, experiencing some numbness in left toe.
Drs. Have suggested, over the years, that I consider leg artery bypass surgery.
What experience has anyone had with this surgery?
I’m a 76 year old female stroke survivor with family history of artery disease.
Hi @maryconnect - I wanted to let you know I moved your post here so that you could connect with more members talking about peripheral artery disease:

Hoping that here you can connect with @JustinMcClanahan @dsthing @mostiles12 @foam4u and others who can speak to whether they've had toe numbness and also pain, and if they have had or are knowledgeable about leg artery bypass surgery, as doctors have suggested for you over the years.

3 ReactionsLooking for advice: I am a 75 year old woman, diagnosed with PAD 2 years ago. I realize I should exercise. However, I also have spinal stenosis and CHF both of which make walking (or any upright weight bearing activity) difficult at best. My maximum walk per day is about 3/4 mi. Would a seated exerciser like a seated elliptical work in place of walking?
