Anyone been prescribed Ohtuvayre (new med)? Your experience?
Has anyone been prescribed the new COPD medication by their treatment team....Ohtuvayre? Just wondering if it now active, how it is effecting patients and how well it does/doesn't work

I was started on Trelegy after two days side effects were sore throat, lost voice, runny nose and lots of mucus. Terrible medicine at least for me, waiting for medicine Ensifentrine/Ohtuvayre should have within a week in hope that this helps without side effects. I also have been reading about dupixent and wondering if anyone has tried this new medicine? And what your results were?
I started on Dupixent in 11/23 and it worked great until about 5/24....don't know whether I developed antibodies to it or eosinophilic pneumonia as my physician has not tested for that. Had a Dupixent holiday for about three weeks and started again. The major problem was that the congestion/secretions did not improve but seemed to be worse. I am going to request a serology test for antibodies. Of all the medications other than the "normal inhalers" I feel that Dupixent probably holds the most promise, but I do think that whether it is used for asthma or COPD the key is do you have Type II inflammation.

1 Reactionty for the infor
It took me about 3 weeks before noticing a big difference. I don’t believe it is theophyline, it is ensifentrine.. I started with only once daily the first week, trying to be cautious and then twice daily after.
did you have any side effects?
No side effects
I do also take Breztri as I have in the past 3 years
Was on this for five weeks. Did nothing Had to stop as one of the side effects was high blood pressure Went to 180/125, which is stroke territory according to my doctor
I’ve been on it for only about 2 weeks. I was told that after 10 weeks there was improvement in PFT tests. I plan on giving it 3 months. My only hope for better breathing.
Contact the pharmacy who provided the drug. You should get better results. Centerwell provides mine and they are extremely responsive.
