We rolled out a new Notification Setting that allows you to receive an email notification or an onsite notification when a member makes their first post.

This feature is optional. You can turn on the setting (and off) in Your Settings.

Here's how to be a greeter

Go to My Profile.
Click Settings below your profile picture.
Scroll to Notifications and Preferences.
Select First Posts by Members.
Choose how you want to be notified when someone makes their first post on Mayo Clinic Connect.
Click Update.

Great! Now you will get a notification when members post for the first time in the support group(s) you follow.

Recognize first post notifications onsite by this symbol.

Welcome first time posters. Ask them a question. Make them feel like they've come to the right place to support, answers, and connection.

People who have been diagnosed with DIPNECH. I HAVE A QUESTION.
Have you ever lived in a house that had a basement.
The reason I ask is....my house had a basement, we also had RADON. I lived there for 20 years.
From what I understand...the Dr's do not no what causes DIPNECH. Then in the same breath would say....oh no Radon does not cause DIPNECH.
Well do they Really know.
That's why I am asking all of you who have been diagnosed with DIPNECH if you lived in a home with a basement and perhaps did not know if it had Radon. So if you lived in a home with a basement or not could you let me know. I am very curious and I am trying to find the cause of the so called Rare Disease.
I'm 67 non-smoker. Did smoke off and on when I was a teen.
I would like to compare life styles with others and try to figure this out.
Please, let's help each other.

Welcome to Connect, I am not familiar with DIPNECH. so can not comment on your questions but you might want to post this question in the Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) group, there has been discussion in that group about DIPNECH.

Another option is use the search function in Connect to find other discussion about DIPNECH.
