why do i feel like a let down?

Yeah, I guess I'm a disappointment, doing everything I can
I don't wanna make you disappointed, it's annoying
I just wanna make you feel like everything I ever did
Was never tryna make an issue for you
But I guess the more you thought about everything
You were never even wrong in the first place, right?
Yeah, I'ma just ignore you, walking towards you
With my head down, lookin' at the ground, I'm embarrassed for you
Paranoia, what did I do wrong this time? That's parents for you
Very loyal? Shoulda had my back but you put a knife in it
My hands are full, what else should I carry for you?
I cared for you, but
Feels like we're on the edge right now
I wish that I could say I'm proud
I'm sorry that I let you down
Le-le-let you down
All these voices in my head get loud
I wish that I could shut them out
I'm sorry that I let you down
Le-le-let you down
Yeah, you don't wanna make this work
You just wanna make this worse
Want me to listen to you
But you don't ever hear my words
You don't wanna know my hurt, yet
Let me guess, you want an apology, probably
How can we keep going at a rate like this?
We can't, so I guess I'ma have to leave
Please don't come after me
I just wanna be alone right now, I don't really wanna think at all
Go ahead, just drink it off
Both know you're gonna call tomorrow like nothing's wrong
Ain't that what you always do?
Let you down-NF

Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior of your life will set you free from guilt and shame.

Here is a prayer you can say today:

“Dear God,

I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

What a beautiful prayer and so fitting! We all need God and Jesus in today's sometimes awful world and even when it's good, it's nice to be able to say thank you for what we have! And offering the reference of Billy Graham was so nice! I miss Billy Graham! I used to watch him on TV and he always made sense and made you feel good about life!
Thank you again!

Part 2 of my response. Your criticism of my response is all you give. Do you have something positive and helpful to share other than just criticism? That was an empty response and not supportive at all to @ginnysnow. You offered her nothing and just responded to criticize me. I would not go to you for advice for anything. 😉

Then you have no right to judge me.

I'm not judging you, I'm giving my honest opinion on that genre of "music", since I don't consider someone talking with electronic noise in the background to be music. But if it connects with you on any level, and helps you deal with life's daily struggles then continue to listen to it.
My family all think I'm nuts for loving the music that I do, but I've been a metal head since the late 70's, and I sure as hell aren't going to stop listening to it now.
You do what you need to cope, and I'll do the same.

People can share with others and people can choose for themselves what to do with what is shared with them. We are whole people, body/mind/spirit/soul. We are not pieces of a puzzle. We are whole. You can avoid sharing spiritual things with others and that is your choice. You can’t tell others not to.
