Aortic Aneurysms – When do you go to the ER?
I'm a newly diagnosed aortic root aneurysm patient. It showed up on my echo in January at 4.1 cm. So I had a CT in March 4.5cm. I'm new to this. I had a blood pressure episode in April. My BP was 197/106-pulse at 87. So I went to ER. They told me they weren't equipped to deal with an aortic aneurysm. Gave me a shot an sent me home. I don't want to go to the ER each an every episode. Is there a base BP that should send me to the ER? Thanks!!

Watchful and waiting mode is so difficult. I have an aneurysm in my heart it's a 4'2 I found out in February so what can I do. I'm 70 yrs old
I got a follow up Echo at 6 months by my primary care doctor since I see him twice a year anyway. Since there were significant changes, he referred me to Mayo for a 2nd opinion because my current cardiologist didn't move up my Jan 5, 2025 appointment. The Mayo appointment is in August.
