What is the wait time for transplant testing?
How long is the current wait time from the time of the initial intake call until one’s first appointment for testing ahead of surgery? Post testing: what is the wait time for surgery assuming good testing results?

Not exactly sure if this is what you want. Also every case may be different ? But for me after my local doctors found my liver cancer they refered me to the Mayo Clinic. Before I was accepted on to the transplant list I had to do about 60 (no joke) tests in Denver. Tons of blood tests, all sort of scans, tests, etc. That took over 2 months. After all was submitted to Mayo they agreed that I could come down to AZ for their tests. I came down and they did another dozen in the course of about a week. I was then added to their list. Them finding the right liver , wait time for that will very greatly person to person. Not sure if that was what you were looking for. Hope that helps. Best of luck.

Have you been in contact with any of these places yet? They will be your best source of information specific to your situation. You may want to check with your medical team and get their take on the preferred transplant center they would like to use. As @craigcraig mentioned, each case can be different, with variables!
Looking forward to helping you more,
Ginger

3 ReactionsFrom original diagnosis which didn’t take long because they said I had 5 days to live to receiving my liver took 7 months I was near death every case has it’s own issues but it could be 2 months to 5 years or more remember nothing in the medical world is on your time I called it hospital time and learn patience

2 Reactions@bbernadt, such incredible news that you have 2 people who are a match to enable a live kidney donation. Are you a patient at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere?

1 ReactionJust for clarification it’s only my wife who is a perfect match. I am not a patient of the Mayo clinic yet, but I have an appointment tomorrow for my initial intake.
