Vest to BiWaze Clear for airway clearance

I am wondering if anyone has used the BiWaze Clear system for airway clearance. The rep said it has been available for about a year in the U.S. I participated in a demonstration yesterday (7/10) and it seemed to work well. I currently have a heavy vest that is just too hard on my body and my ME provider told me I would be a good candidate for this system. With my pulmonary doctor's approval, I decided to go ahead and try it, I was told I could "rent" it through Medicare.

Yes, I hope to. Many outstanding questions, like timing availability, cost, etc. I suspect there will be a prior authorization process. If it looks unlikely I will enroll in a clinical trial for a similar drug and hope I get the real drug. Wishful thinking I know!

If you are talking about Bensocatib, my Pulmonologist wants me to try it when it comes out. I have same questions as you (and many of us do) about it. Plus, I was wondering if it will tend to "dry us out" as one of the effects. I am already pretty dry with sputum production.

Wow! I am wondering how you participated in a BiWaze demonstration? I have an AffloVest that also causes my back to hurt and will not be able to keep it. My pulmonologist is not optimistic that the BiWaze will work for me but is not opposed to me trying it. My ME provider recommended it. I have Dry bronchiectasis.
Thank you!
