@merpreb I have CBD Oil here at home along with pills of the same. I am using it and will do so until the first post op CT Scans. So, we'll see if it shows any help in stopping the return of any suspicious places in my lung. As for what it does, I don't find it really helps with tension, or anxiety, nor does it help with arthritis. I"m hoping it will help stop the recurrence of any cancer. It is interesting to be a guinea pig for myself and I will keep you posted when if ind out something within the next six months.

@alamogal635-Oh. Sorry for misunderstanding. You have probably read that CBD oil is not being toted as a miracle drug, and unfortunately it isn't. I hope that your chemo worked!

@merpreb The surgeons got the cancer early enough that it had not spread to lymph nodes, or surrounding tissue. All is clear. I am trying the CBD oil as a preventative for possible recurring cancer. Also, I'm just seeing if it helps all around. I sm not sure it does. Right not there is no chemo, or radiation, or another treatments. I am recovering from a right lung lobectomy.

@alamogal635– I knew that! I don't think that I am in top form today. I think that at some point I'm going to stop the oil and see if it was helping!

alamogal635….glad they caught the cancer at an earlier stage so you didn't need 'all' the treatments! The studies say that the CBD can help with inflammation by attaching to CBD receptors in our bodies. Because we're all different, the results are different for everyone (like all drugs and herbs, supplements, etc). There is probably more effect with continued use. Hope it helps you. Hugs

Sorry you are having and "off" day. It happens. I'm just playing lab rat with myself and using the oil to see if it helps stop recurrences of the cancer. As for helping with arthritis, nerves, sleep–nothing for me. Ob well. I think the supplier simply wants to make $$$$$

Going to continue using it at least until my next CT scan. Have heard that it has stopped recurrences in lab rats and mice, thus I'm,, p[laying rat/mice with myself.

Stage 4, metastatic squamous cell lung cancer. One lung already removed. Currently on Keytruda and Taxol, which so far are not working. Am wanting to try cbd and thc oil, but not sure of initial dosing.

Here is what American Cancer Society says when you search "CBD": "More recently, scientists reported that THC and other cannabinoids such as CBD slow growth and/or cause death in certain types of cancer cells growing in lab dishes. Some animal studies also suggest certain cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer.

There have been some early clinical trials of cannabinoids in treating cancer in humans and more studies are planned. While the studies so far have shown that cannabinoids can be safe in treating cancer, they do not show that they help control or cure the disease."

Many believe full spectrum CBD is more effective with the .03% THC. However, this trace amount of THC can show up on a drug test. There is "full spectrum" CBD that doesn't have the THC but retains all the terpenes and full CBD effects without the THC. Avoid "isolate"which is arguably not as effective medicinally.

It depends on what dosage of CBD is in the oil. There isn't any research or facts to support a certain dosage of CBD/day for cancer. What the goal is without this research is to manage side effects such as nausea and anxiety. I have found 25mg/day for anxiety and possibly another 25mg dose at night to help with sleep would be effective. So check the label to see what the dosage of CBD is per dropper and then shoot for 20/25mg/day in morning and same at night if needed for sleep. Also, give to caretaker and loved ones for their anxiety. They need it just as much as you do! xoxo
