tortuous aortic aneurysms. Waiting till measurement is a 5.
Wondering if that is a smart move on my part. It is slow growing,3.8cm 7/24/19 to 4.7 recently w/cat scan with contrast. Scary for sure. It is tortuous... I'm hoping I can have the stent! Not the cut from clavicle to belly button. Any info would be appreciated.

Talking from personal experience, depends of your lifestyle, diet, smoking, soft drink w acid, and more.
All of this must change, to slow the growth of the aneurysm.
Mine grow from your measurement to Large and dangerous within 1 year only.
I would take a CT-Scan every 6 months from now.
Prepare yourself that surgery is needed, within this year 2023.
I had 2x EVAR and 2x AAA abdominal aorta aneurysm surgery, and more last year...
It is Life Changing, for sure, but not scary, if you take the surgery this year.
Better than the alternative.
Im new here, joined today but written many posts about my personal experiences.
EVAR is not half as bad as full open AAA, so you can stress down.
My doctor told me I could choose between EVAR and AAA. Looking back today, I wish I would had choosen full open AAA from the start, due to complications after Evar.
Scar from Full open AAA surgery grow heal much faster than lower part body. Within a year the scars are 90% gone.
