The doctor has misdiagnosed me with psychosis, what should I do?
I have been taking antidepressant medications since 2 years, OCD medicines since 2 years and antipsychosis medicines and schizophrenia medicines since 6 months. The antidepressants and OCD medicines did not help me even by 1%. I have been misdiagnosed with psychosis, as I never had a single hallucination in my life, I do not imagine or hear voices, and I do not have suspiciousness towards others. But the psychiatrist is not ready to listen to me. He told that the diagnosis of psychosis is correct. But I do not have any psychosis symptoms and never had it. It is so frustrating to be misdiagnosed and been given wrong medicines for 6 months. What should I do?

@pritammududi I just want to give some input about your explanation of your behavior. It does not sound like Psychosis or Schitzophrenia. Many characteristics of a person's unique persona, family and environmental upbringing can bring on personality traits. ALSO--I have researched and experienced w/ my own young adult children the affects of the Pandemic upon their normal socialization & some what less so acadmic trajectory in high school & college . The social distancing and chaos of schools in a sudden & frightening mandatory shift in protocols, hybrid and online , good teachers quiting, no lunch , no typical social & sport team , school spirit, etc. froze the young person's natural social development , social interacting . So if you were already somewhat shy this really was a constant tidle wave of anxiety triggers, worry and self doubt. Academically, I call the regressive socialization the cause for a Covid induced ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) not HYPERactivity , if you were a basically well adjusted child facing entering high school or college it was devastating for the
people who aren't extroverted or well set up with a lot of close friends and great family support. I do not know why it is not in my observances a widely recognized malady that needs to diagnosed. I am sure like Autism, there is the spetrum from mild to extreme cases.
