Hoping to find answers or helpful info , i started seeing a neuro as the neuropathy in right leg getting worse, with that said i now have numbness n weakness in both arms, its hard to walk, or use hands, memory and vision getting worse along with depression? I wake up off balance and haft to “get my marbles “ together upon waking. Here’s the notes i brought to neuro : Numbness is both arms right leg . Pain right side body . Stand or sit hurt in back then get light headed n dizzy kinda . Always haft to adjust body to get comfortable. Muscles in arms n legs . Hands weaker always adjusting like legs. Gotta keep turning right leg sometimes foot burns on bottom and numb. At night cant lay on right side hurts n put pillow between legs and most nights up late makes me cry and makes me feel crazy . Left arm also has to be free ?. Middle back constant hurt now past few weeks, leaning forward helps some but hurts leg. I cant keep up with anyone always haft to lay leaning back on bed no kitchen chairs , has to have cushion no pressure on butt or back . Right hand n foot stays cold most of time wake up off balance. Had vitamin D n B12 deficiency almost year ago. Vision decreased. Sometimes a crawling feel on arms ? Body stiff n all muscles hurt. Hard to use hands ir hold things alot of times. He is looking for MS, is this familiar to anyone else with chronic ischemic small vessel disease? Sorry its long I’m losing my mind and I’m scared.. thank you. I don’t have high bp or diabetes

If you take statins it would be worth investigating. Look up Myositis for a lead. Good luck

Hi, @caregiver - wondering how things are going with your small vessel disease and the weakness and tiredness you talked about previously?

@tnangel - how are you doing lately? Have you gotten any further answers on the symptoms you were experiencing?

i'm glad you posted, Chris. I have a similar situation (I'm in Port Angeles, WA) and know how scary and frustrating it can be not to get any clear, candid, or helpful info from even the specialists. I'm taking my test results to a more urban area (Seattle, probably) to get someone more experienced and better qualified to interpret them -- I hope. When I find the right neurologist and can get an appt, that is.

Some of your symptoms are consistent with Parkinson's, basal ganglia damage (even Lewy Body or vascular dementia, but less so?) -- all pretty terrifying words, I know. HOWEVER, I don't see any indication of any of those in the summary you attached, I think they affect a different area of the brain than where your primary problem seems to be, and I should probably not even mention those things -- am probably "projecting" -- because I am not a clinician of any kind.

These days, we have to be our own patient advocates and keep banging on the pipes even to get heard. Please do that -- fight for yourself, but not constantly and not so the stress makes everything worse. One call a day might be a good goal. And I hope you'll consider getting a referral for a consultation with another neurologist.

As you can see from my scan there is def something wrong My MRA just came back ok now they want me to have a spinal tap. I have sever long term memory loss. There are days I can’t walk at all. I fell in august and messed up my cervical and lumbar back so that doesn’t help. Hoping to get answers. I feel like everything is wrong. Headaches here and there. Always fatigued and tired.
