Sleep Apnea and adjusting to a CPAP machine: Tips?

I'm confused on what to do on CPAP. I hate it and am trying to find a dentist that will take my insurance for a dental device. What would happen if I stop using my CPAP while I'm waiting for one?

Tips for Adjusting to a CPAP Machine:
1. Start Slowly: Wear the mask for short periods during the day to get used to the feeling before sleeping with it at night.
2. Ensure a Proper Fit: Adjust the mask to avoid leaks and discomfort. A snug fit ensures better therapy.
3. Use the Ramp Feature: Start with a lower pressure setting and let the machine gradually increase to your prescribed pressure.
4. Maintain Cleanliness: Clean your mask, tubing, and water chamber regularly to ensure hygiene and prevent infections.
5. Use Humidification: If dryness or irritation occurs, use a built-in humidifier to add moisture to the air.
6. Stay Consistent: Use your CPAP every night, even for naps, to allow your body to adjust to the therapy.
